you love Austin more than anyone. Upload it to YouTube (or any other

the link. It’s just that easy! We’ll pick our 10 faves, then Austin will personally pick the winner.
REMEMBER: This particular contest is only for people in the L.A.
area. If you win and if you and/or your parent or guardian are unable to
get to our secret location in L.A. on January 30th after school for a
meal with Austin, you will be disqualified.

POPSTAR! “WIN A DATE WITH AUSTIN MAHONE” CONTEST OFFICIAL RULES
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY OR PAYMENT REQUIRED TO ENTER OR WIN
THIS CONTEST. PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING WITH
ENTRY. ENTRANTS MUST BE BETWEEN THE AGES OF 13 AND 18 DURING THE TERM TO
ENTER.
1. SPONSOR: Popstar! Publishing, L.L.C., 6052 Turkey Lake Rd., Ste. 203, Orlando, FL 32819.
2. CONTEST PROMOTION: From January 20th, 2012, through January 27th, 2012, (“Term”),
Popstar! Magazine (“Magazine”) will promote the
Popstar! “Win
a Date (“Date”) with Austin Mahone” Contest (“Contest”), by means of
online promotion at PopstarOnline.com and on other social-media
networks, providing the opportunity to win the Grand Prize as detailed
below. All times and days in these Official Rules (“Rules”) are Eastern
Standard Time. All information being collected hereunder is to be solely
used in the administration of the Contest.
3. MEANS OF ENTRY: There are two (2) ways to enter the Contest:
A. ONLINE ENTRY: Make a video explaining why you are Austin Mahone’s #1 fan, upload it publicly and comment PopstarOnline.com/Win-A-Date-
With-Austin-Mahone with the URL.
B. E-MAIL ENTRY: You may also enter by emailing a
paragraph explaining why you are Austin Mahone’s #1 fan, including your
full name, address [city, state, zip code] daytime phone number with
area code, e-mail address, code and a statement of parental consent.

popstar@popstaronline.com. On the SUBJECT LINE, enter “POPSTAR! ‘WIN A DATE WITH AUSTIN MAHONE’ CONTEST.”
Only completed entries (entrants must provide answers to all
questions) received during the Term will be considered eligible by
Magazine’s editors (“Judges”) and Austin Mahone (the “Artist”) in
choosing the winner of the Contest. Contest will be conducted in two
rounds. In the first round, on or about January 27th, 2012, Judges will
select ten (10) entrants from all eligible entries (“Finalists”) based
on answers’ perceived fandom for the Artist. In the second and final
round, also on or about January 27th, 2012, Artist will choose one (1)
winner from Finalists. Winner will be announced at PopstarOnline.com on
or around January 28th, 2012.
4. LIMITATIONS: All entries must be received by
January 27th, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. EST. Limit one (1) entry per person,
per household. Open only to persons between the ages of thirteen (13)
and eighteen (18) years of age during the Term who are legal residents
of, and physically located within, the 50 United States, its
territories, or Canada (“Territory”), and who are able to get themselves
to and from an easily accessible location in Los Angeles, California.
NO TRANSPORTATION OR LODGING PROVIDED. Any individuals (including but
not limited to employees, consultants, independent contractors and
interns) who have, within the past six (6) months, performed service for
the Sponsor, any organizations responsible for sponsoring, fulfilling,
administering, advertising or promoting the Contest or supplying the
prizes, and/or their respective parent, subsidiary, affiliated and
successor companies (individually and collectively, “Entities”), and
immediate family and household members of such individuals, are not
eligible to enter or play. Any person who, within the past six (6)
months, has been awarded a Grand Prize in any contest or sweepstakes
conducted by Sponsors is not eligible to enter or play. Entities are not
responsible for printing errors or inaccurate, incomplete, stolen,
lost, illegible, mutilated, tampered with, altered, postage-due,
misdirected or late entries. Void where prohibited or restricted by law
and subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations.
5. PRIZE: ONE (1) GRAND PRIZE: The Grand Prize
winner (“Winner”) of the Contest will experience the chance of a
lifetime by meeting Austin Mahone for a Date (accompanied by a
parent/legal guardian), Date being defined as a meal with Austin at a
public restaurant. In addition to Winner’s parent/legal guardian, one
(1) or more of Sponsor’s representatives and one (1) or more of Artist’s
representatives will accompany Winner and Artist. This prize will be
fulfilled on January 30th, 2012. Approximate retail value: five hundred
U.S. Dollars ($500). Prize is not redeemable for cash or transferable.
No substitution allowed except, at Sponsor’s sole discretion, a prize of
equal or greater value may be substituted.
6. PROCEDURES: Contest begins on January 20th, 2012, and ends
on January 27th, 2012. Contest will be conducted in two rounds. In the
first round, Judges will select ten (10) Finalists from all eligible
entries based on perceived fandom for the Artist. In the second and
final round, Artist will choose one (1) winner from the Finalists. Odds
of winning Grand Prize depend on the number of eligible entries received
during the Term. Many will enter. Only one (1) will win.
7. WINNERS: will be notified by e-mail, on or about
January 27th, 2012, and announced publicly at PopstarOnline.com on or
about January 28th, 2012, after winner’s eligibility and parental
consent have been determined. Winner must meet all eligibility
requirements. All responsibilities of the Winner under the Rules will be
assumed by parent/legal guardian (“Parent”). Disqualification and the
forfeiture of the prize may result from any of the following: [1] the
return of any notification as undeliverable; [2] failure of a potential
Winner to execute an Affidavit of Eligibility and Release for Minor
Child the day of the meeting; [3] potential Winner’s inability to attend
the meeting on January 30th, 2012; and [4] any other non-compliance
with the Rules. If a potential Winner forfeits the prize, it will not be
awarded. Any minor must be accompanied by his/her Parent. Federal,
state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the Winner. For

27th, 2012) send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to

8. CONDITIONS: Each entrant by entering this Contest
agrees that: [1] he/she will abide by and be bound by the Rules and
Magazine’s decisions; [2] the Contest application, or other form of
entry, becomes solely Magazine’s property and will not be acknowledged,
so no phone calls should be made by entrant to Magazine’s offices to
ascertain receipt; [3] none of the Entities, nor any of their officers,
directors, shareholders, employees, agents or representatives
(individually and collectively, “Releasees”) are responsible for claims,
injuries, losses or damages of any kind resulting, in whole or in part,
directly or indirectly, from the awarding, delivery, acceptance, use,
misuse, possession, loss or misdirection of the prize or participation
in this Contest or in any activity or travel related thereto; [4]
Winner’s acceptance of the prize constitutes the grant of an
unconditional right to use Winner’s name, address (city and state only),
voice, likeness, photograph, biographical and prize information and/or
statements about the promotion for any publicity, advertising and
promotional purposes without additional compensation, in any media,
worldwide, in perpetuity, except where prohibited by law; [5] in the
event unauthorized human intervention, acts of God, acts or regulations
of any governmental or supra-national authority, war, national
emergency, accident, fire, riot, strikes, lock-outs, industrial
disputes, acts of terrorism or other matters beyond Magazine’s
reasonable control, corrupt, prevent or impair the administration,
security, fairness or proper play of this Contest, so that it cannot be
conducted as originally planned, Magazine has the right to cancel,
terminate or suspend the Contest; and in such event, to select a Winner,
as specified in Section 6 of the Rules herein, from among all eligible
entries received up to such time of cancellation, termination or
suspension and in the event a Date has already commenced, to terminate
the Date; [6] the Releasees are not responsible for typographical or
other errors in the offer or administration of this Contest, including
but not limited to errors in the advertising, Rules and selection and
